All about Pink!

I knew that 2024 would be the year of weddings infused with bold colors. That’s why I planned this bright pink-styled shoot for early in the year. And I wasn’t wrong. I’ve been in love with the bright hues that this wedding season has brought and it has made the all-white weddings exciting too. Excited to share this pink shoot with you.
Styled shoots are exercises in creativity and some of the most exciting days of the off-season. From sketching out designs to sourcing the perfect florals to executing our vision, I love the full creative license. I like to think that styled shoots are like my personality - sometimes I like to be planned and meticulous and other times I like to be entirely spontaneous. What I love about the spontaneity is walking into a warehouse of flowers and finding the right colors and flowers in the right combination for our designs. But with the advantage of planning, I love being able to source the right combination of flowers to bring the vision in my head to life.
This bold monochromatic pink bouquet brought together many textures and floral elements including the most incredibly painted anthurium from Haus of Stems. Other elements include painted yarrow, clematis, painted billy balls, painted seeded eucalyptus, sweet peas, ranunculus, roses, and sanguisorbia. Individually all elements I love, but everything in hot pink stole my heart.
The boldness of these beautiful florals was only made more dramatic with these gorgeous gowns curated by Blanc de Blanc Bridal Boutique. Our two models - Natali and Stevi - were perfect. I particularly loved the dress featured to the left — whose luxurious train came right off in time to party.
Hair and Makeup was done by the amazing team at Sarah Delaine Brides. Natali sported bold, dramatic make-up with a high ponytail. Stevi had a glam make-up look with beautiful curls.
